Royal Shakespeare Company In Blaenau Gwent

For the first time since 2000 the South Wales Valleys has the opportunity to experience the highly prestigious Royal Shakespeare Company live on their doorstep.

The Royal Shakespeare Company is returning to Ebbw Vale Sports Centre, Blaenau Gwent with two new touring productions, Julius Caesar and The Two Gentlemen of Verona.

Once again, Ebbw Vale is the ONLY venue in Wales to receive this exciting production. Between 19th and 23rd October Ebbw Vale will play host to these two exciting and contrasting productions.

Each production will approach Shakespeare's work from a different perspective; The Two Gentlemen of Verona embroiling Valentine and Proteus in a metropolis characterised by the seemingly endless parties, decadence and jazz rhythms of the 1930s; Julius Caesar as a political thriller presented to the audience in a distinctly Brechtian style.

Prices range from £8.50 to £17.50.

As tickets are already in such high demand, avoid disappointment by booking now on 01495 350360.
