In response to your website request for information the ACW has just announced a grant of £50,000 to the Wales Theatre Company towards the production costs of its Shakespeare trilogy of Twelfth Night, Cymbeline,

The Trilogy will give 30 performances at The Grand Theatre Swansea, The North Wales Theatre, Llandudno and The New Theatre Cardiff (not included
in the grant),is expected to reach a target audience of between 15-20,000, and will provide the company of 25 actors and stage management with employment for 8 weeks.
The total production costs of £225,000 have been met by The City of Swansea, the ACW, guarantees against loss from the three theatres involved and £20,000 from the Wales Theatre Company itself, the residue from the English leg of its last, highly successful tour of Under Milk Wood.
The company is led by Philip Madoc in the role of Shylock, Paul Greenwood as Malvolio, Bill Wallis as Feste and John Labanowski as Sir Toby Belch and Cymbeline. The season will culminate with a special Gala day on Saturday October 23rd at The New Theatre Cardiff when all three plays may be seen on the one day.
The Wales Theatre Company is grateful for the continuing support of the ACW, and of its main host and sponsor - the City of Swansea - for enabling this major large scale theatre event to take place.
