The Arts Council of Wales is reminding artists across Wales of the upcoming deadline for this year’s Creative Wales awards. The scheme aims to support excellence and to help develop potential in artists working in any creative discipline including Dance, Craft, Visual Art, Multimedia and Music. The scheme is offered at two levels, ‘Creative Wales’ Awards of between £5,000 and £10,000 and five Major `Creative Wales’ Award Bursaries of £20,000. Applicants must be professional artists living in Wales who demonstrate originality, innovation and excellence in work that takes forward the art-form and artistic practice.
