Funded by Arts Council England and led by Arts Intelligence Limited, the Theatre Education Network was launched on 4 October and works alongside other professional bodies to provide benefits to full or part time theatre education professionals. The organization aims to raise the profile of the profession and work toward establishing better deals for theatre educators. TEN provides services and support through Networking, Information, Advocacy and Training made available online and through its various campaigns, benefits and activities. Members gain access to monthly e-bulletin provides news, funding, information, jobs, publications, case studies and other info, along with a quarterly newsletter. They are invited to upload useful information onto the website themselves, and can be represented in various campaigning schemes put forth by the organization. *Memberships are free of charge until April 2005 after which a range of different membership deals will be available.
