Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens is a dramatic and musical theatre piece composed of free verse poems and songs reflecting the broad spectrum of people AIDS has infected and affected - gay and straight, young and old. The patchwork of biographical poems/monologues are uplifting, some heart-wrenching and some hysterically funny. The songs reflect the feelings of the living. Each poem represents a character who has died from AIDS. Set in America, the musical play is an 'emotionally potent, highly theatrical evening which offers the audience the healing power of laughter and tears. ' Backstage, New York
Directed by Gwynefer Bawler.

The first night's performance will be donated to Children with AIDS Charity and there will be collection boxes for the National AIDS Trust.
