The Choreographic Lab, Articulating Dance Project     



Proposals are invited from movement-based artists working professionally and/or in higher education, interested in undertaking an extended independent research project at The Choreographic Lab., University College of Northampton. It is an opportunity to conduct research into choreographic processes and will focus on how best to disseminate information about the artform. The Lab will be able to provide time, space and digital equipment for the investigation of interdisciplinary and choreographic processes.

As part of the project the artists involved are expected to share/discuss their work and participate in a two-week intensive during the summer periods. Successful applicants will receive a budget of up to £10,000 to support their work, plus assistance towards expenses, technical support and equipment. Applicants should be committed to the development, exchange and dissemination of innovative movement practices in the form of articles/essays or in DVDs, seminars, and workshops.
