TODAY rehearsals started for Hijinx Theatre’s forthcoming national tour – Spinning The Round Table by Lewis Davies.
The Hijinx team began the four week rehearsal process in earnest at Chapter Arts Centre, Canton, Cardiff.
Spinning The Round Table is a new commission for Hijinx by Welsh playwright Lewis Davies. Once again Hijinx have the talents of director Chris Morgan (Paul Robeson Knew My Father, I Shot Buffalo Bill, Dreaming Amelia) who leads a cast of Ceris Jones (To Have and To Hold), Emyr John (To Have and To Hold & I Shot Buffalo Bill), and new to Hijinx; Alison John and Morgan Rhys.
The production team includes Blaanid Madrell (Set and Costume Designer), James Williams (Music), Sarah Marshall (Company Stage Manager) and Simon Gough (Lighting and Production Manager).
Spinning The Round Table combines passion and politics as it takes the Arthurian Legend and puts it into a modern tale of love, power and betrayal.
