Brand new comedy from Big State Theatre, the team behind 2004’s hit show The Fire Starter.
A woman, a young pet-sitter, is discovered floating on a buoy in the middle of the ocean. As she slowly reveals her version of events that took place within an inner city tower block, what begins as a fairly straightforward task of moving an old lady’s pets escalates to biblical proportions…….
Fetch! is a fast-paced, physical comedy that is both hilarious and deeply absurd. Like Mel Brooks crossed with Delicatessen and Brazil, Fetch! is a very funny urban fantasy where the audience is sucked into a gloriously skewed world. Highly atmospheric and highly visual, Fetch! also uses puppets, 16mm film and video projections that bring to life a parade of bizarre characters including a Russian spy with a Tom Waits obsession, people who live in cupboards and a concierge straight out of The Archers…….

Established in 1996, Big State is company in residence at The Arc Theatre, Trowbridge. Fetch! is the company’s sixth show and will tour to 34 venues this autumn.
