Welsh Theatre Awards 2005 results

Slightly later than planned we now have the results of the Welsh Theatre Awards 2005.
The winners this year are:
The James Westaway Award for the most promising young performer:
GARETH BALE for his welsh language Hamlet and other work....
Best English Language production: The Life of Ryan...and Ronnie (Sgript Cymru)
Best Welsh Language Production: Hamlet (Wales Theatre Company)
Best Dance production: At Swim Two Boys (Earthfall Dance)
Best New Writing : Flowers from Tunisia (Larry Allan, produced by Theatr y Byd)
Best Male Actor: Aled Pugh (as Ryan Davies in Sgript Cymru's 'The Life of Ryan and Ronnie')
Best Female Actor : Alex Alderton (as Alice Dell in Sam Boardman-Jacob's 'Someone Else's Rainbow').
There will now be a short presentation ceremony at Chapter Arts Centre on Wednesday 15th just before the official launch of the new book 'Now You’re Talking (Drama in Conversation) , edited by Hazel Walford Davies.
