The Riverfront is delighted to announce that Black Sheep and James Seabright will be bringing Professor Bumm’s Story Machine to Newport, on Tuesday 30 May at 2.30pm. A favourite of the Edinburgh festival, the improvised show is packed with comedy and made up madness. The show is all about Professor Bumm introducing his latest invention with the help of his assistant Doctor Whee. This technological marvel will collect data from the audience and use it to create fantastic stories out of thin air. Unless the machine goes catastrophically wrong, forcing Bumm and Whee to make up stories in some sort of desperate cover up. This horror of laughter will delight children and their families especially as every performance is based on audience’s participation to the show. “Andrew Jones and Ciaran Murtagh are masters of improvisation, guaranteed to make children and juvenile adults laugh”. (Daily Mail) All ticket prices are £6. To purchase tickets please call The Riverfront Box Office on 01633 656757. Please Note: This improvised comedy show is not suitable for the under sevens.
