Jeff Teare, Made in Wales, calls again for the suspension of the new writing stategy |

The word on the streets of Cardiff (Bay) is that, despite Made In Wales and Dalier Sylw being first told by ACW officers that they'd be advised of their 'recommended' fate during the week of the 17th of January, and then that it would happen early in the week of the 24th of January, it's now said that we won't hear anything until after ACW meets on the 11th of Feb... This gives about forty days notice for one company to shut up shop and the other to prepare for the brave new future of new Welsh writing. (There was a time when I tried to work in a professionally run theatre...). ONCE AGAIN I CALL ON ACW TO SUSPEND ITS SO-CALLED NEW WRITING STRATEGY SO THAT SOMETHING ELSE AT LEAST SENSIBLE, AND HOPEFULLY EVEN CREATIVE CAN BE DONE! - |
