Lenny - Theatr Iolo Present Hard Hitting Drama at Sherman

Lenny - Theatr Iolo Present Hard Hitting Drama at Sherman Theatr Iolo will this month present a hard hitting play translated from the original prize winning French-Canadian play Leon Le Nul by Francis Monty performed by Theatre Iolo’s own Artistic Director, Kevin Lewis.

Lenny is the story of one boy and his imagination. Small and lonely, Lenny lives in a world of fear. Fear of the bullies at school, fear of the uncertainty at home and fear of the thoughts in his own head. So, Lenny dreams of becoming the most powerful thing he can think of – a train.

This one man show is a brilliant, funny and touching story about the fantasy life we make for ourselves when we are the small ones in a big bad world.

This hard-hitting play is being staged for young audiences by three leading UK theatre companies CTC Theatre (Darlington), Theatr Iolo (Cardiff) and Travelling Light (Bristol) simultaneously in Wales, the West Country and the North East.

“A marvellous one man performance indeed, it is first class theatre.”
