FRANK VICKERY’S OUTRAGEOUS ROOTS AND WINGS!
|
One of Wales’ favourite playwrights Frank Vickery brings his outrageous comedy Roots and Wings to Blackwood Miners’ Institute from Monday 12th May to Thursday 15th May at 7.30pm
“This is one of my favourite comedies and I am sure it would be the perfect night out for you,” says Frank.
You wont see Frank on stage in this one but with him in the director’s chair you are assured to enjoy the same onstage hilarity where anything could happen and usually does!
It’s hasn’t been Ruby’s day; she has so much to deal with! Her beloved son Nigel is in hospital after being hurt in a car crash and Nigel’s lover Kevin has incurred terrible injuries. Due to this Griff, Nigel’s father has discovered his son is not only gay but also a drag queen!
If you saw Granny Annie and A Night on the Tiles last year then you know you wont be disappointed!
Blackwood Miners’ Institute welcomes Frank Vickey twice a year and next to the annual panto his plays are the most popular events in the calendar! Don’t miss out, call the Box Office today for your tickets!
Tickets cost £10.50 with £9.50 concessions are available from the
Box Office on 01495 227206. |
