WELSH BALLET COMPANY BRING FAMOUS SHAKESPEARE TALE TO LIFE ON THE BLACKWOOD MINERS STAGE

Independent Ballet Wales return to Blackwood Miners’ Institute on Saturday 17th May at 7.30pm with the greatest love story ever told.
Romeo & Juliet by William Shakespeare.
Shakespeare’s most famous tragedy and his most enduring tale is now a new full-length classical ballet for all the family to enjoy.
Brought to life using the finest classical dance, and featuring a heart-warming score by Hector Berlioz, Romeo & Juliet is Independent Ballet Wales at its most outstanding.
Intense fighting, passionate duets and universal themes echo through dramatic choreography. Classically beautiful costumes and extraordinary settings create a world of danger and excitement where two young lovers are caught in an age-old feud.
Tickets cost £10 with £9 concessions. There is also a special famiy ticket available priced at £34 for either two adults and two children or one adult and 3 children.
The company will also be holding Junior & Senior Ballet Workshops at 5pm. These are free to ticket holders – more information is available from the Box Office.
