The Dorothy Squires Story by Mark Ryan
Born Edna May Squires in Pontyberem, she began to perform professionally as a singer at the age of 16. Dorothy did most of her work with the orchestra of Billy Reid, who was her partner for many years and wrote some of her best known numbers.
A tour de force performance as Gerri Smith brings us the high and lows of the singer’s life and powerful renderings of Squires’ great vocals.
