THEATR BARA CAWS yn cyflwyno HALIBAL gan W. S. Jones

THEATR BARA CAWS yn cyflwyno HALIBAL gan W. S. Jones Fel yr oedd yr awdur ei hun mae Cadwyni a Halibal_ yn llawn o hwyl stimrwg a chwerthin iach.

Wedi ei gosod yn solat ym myd diamser Eifionydd y dychymyg sydd mor gyfarwydd i ni bellach, mae’n dilyn hanes cwpwl ifanc a’u hymdrechion i ffendio gwir hapusrwydd tu hwnt i hualau a chadwyni cymdeithas.

Bu Wil Sam yn gyfaill da i Bara Caws ar hyd y bedlan ac mae’r cwmni yn falch o gael cyflwyno ei ddrama olaf. Daeth a hi i’r cwmni gan ddweud ‘fod angen dipyn o waith arni’ ond gadawodd o ni cyn iddo gael y cyfle i wneud y gwaith hwnnw. Gyda chydweithrediad y teulu a gwaith arbennig Elin ei ferch a Valmai Jones, awdures ‘Fel Hen Win’, sioe deyrnged y cwmni i Wil Sam, mae gennym bellach ddrama sy’n driw i’w weledigaeth ac yn deyrnged deilwng i’w hawdur. Mae’r cyfarwyddwr Betsan Llwyd, y cast - Bryn Fôn, Delyth Eirwyn, Valmai Jones a Carwyn Jones yn falch o gael chwarae eu rhan wrth gyflwyno'r perl olaf o waelod y ciarpad bag.

Mae’r ddrama yn addas i’r teulu i gyd.

BARA CAWS presents HALIBALW by W. S. Jones
On tour from l5th April – 9th May.

Cwmni Theatr Bara Caws is proud to be able to present HALIBAL_ by Wil Sam Jones. Famous for his quirky insightful comedies Wil Sam’s work has been a mainstay of Welsh Theatre for well over half a century. As a company, Bara Caws have enjoyed a long and fruitful relationship with Wil and we are proud that he chose us to stage this, his final work. With the cooperation of his family and the exceptional input of his daughter Elin and longstanding author Valmai Jones, Halibalw has fulfilled it’s potential to be a light hearted romp following the romantic problems of a pair of young lovers separated by circumstances and an unhappy marriage.Bearing all the traits of Wil Sam’s genre plays, the rural timeless setting, the knowingly innocent plot and the author’s unerring ear for the well wrought phrase, the show will tour extensively over the next few weeks. Directed by Betsan Llwyd the cast includes Bryn Fôn, Delyth Eirwyn, Falmai Jones and Carwyn Jones the play promises to be an excellent evening out,not only for those who cherish the memory of Wil Sam Jones, but for anyone who enjoys the sound of laughter. We are very pleased to have Gwyn Eiddior, Wil Sam’s grandson working for the first time with Bara Caws. He has designed the set.
The production is suitable for all ages.
