Making a welcome return to Ammanford after the success of the highly moving and inspiring Full Circle, The Other Woman and the hard hitting Miss Brown To You, Hijinx, one of Wales’ most foremost touring companies, bring fantasy classic Gulliver’s Travels to the Miners Theatre, 22 October.
Putting their unique and delightful spin on the weird and wonderful world of Gulliver’s Travels, Hijinx bring to life the strange, surreal and sensational inhabitants of this peculiar place where tiny Lilliputians, giants, mad scientists and even talking horses are the norm. Inspired by Jonathan Swift's fantastical satire, this biting new play journeys through the tormented Swift’s unruly imagination, exploring his relationship with the mysterious Dr Gulliver and captures the humour and darkness of a man struggling to survive in an absurd world.
Written by Kit Lambert, an exciting new voice in Welsh theatre, HiJinx’ Gulliver is quite simply unmissable!
