Environmental Artist works with Ysgol Rowen, Conwy Tim Pugh works with pupils of Ysgol Rowen, Conwy as part of Locator 20

As part of the Locator 20 project the environmental artist Tim Pugh will work with pupils form Ysgol Rowen, Conwy. Tim Pugh is known as an environmental artist because he makes art with materials found in a variety of outdoor habitats including beaches, woodlands and riversides. Working in the environment he uses the beautiful colours and textures found in the natural world. The aims of the workshop in Ysgol Rowen will be to celebrate the beautiful landscape of Rowen, Conwy.

The purpose of the workshop is to celebrate the beautiful landscape and to increase the children’s appreciation of the value of the Welsh countryside.

Locator 20 is a very ambitious project which will offer something different to an audience. A guided walk through the beautiful landscape of Rowen, Conwy filled with live performances from eight Welsh and International artists and a historian. This is a unique opportunity to see the climax of intense residency in Rowen, Conwy. A chance to see new work, through dance, performance, visual arts, spoken words and new music in response to the history and stunning landscapes surrounding the village of Rowen, Conwy.
