Surrealist Swansea - lunchtime theatre at the Grand

Surrealist Swansea - lunchtime theatre at the Grand Waiter..! Waiter..! There’s a play in my soup! Swansea Grand Theatre’s Lunchtime drama autumn series continues with Surrealist Swansea, a brand new play by local writer Glynis Judge, on Saturday 31st Oct | 12.30pm

Gary is an artist, Jak and Liz are budding entrepreneurs. They believe that the people of Swansea don’t appreciate the finer things in life. They want to give the city a bit of class, a bit of “Je ne sais quoi”. So out with lager and rugby and in with chardonnay and art – particularly surrealistic art. But is Gary another Dali? Is Swansea Marina another Monte Carlo? And are the trio destined to lose their cash? Glynis Judge’s first play is a hilarious picture of what’s occurring in the city’s artistic highways and byways.

Book and reserve tickets at the theatre Box Office, 01792 475715. Ticket prices have been held at last year’s prices of just £5.00 and concessions of just £4.00.

All Lunchtime plays start at 12.30pm and last a maximum of 1 hour
