SOME of the most high-profile figures in the arts in Wales will be hauled before the National Assembly's audit committee to explain the millions of pounds of public money wasted on the Centre for Visual Arts in Cardiff. The committee decided that a further investigation was necessary after taking evidence yesterday from the Arts Council of Wales's new chief executive, Peter Tyndall. He has been in the job only six weeks but was forced to field questions from AMs based on the Auditor General for Wales's critical report on the project.
