The Perplexing Puzzle of the Pedigree Pet & the Policeman

The Perplexing Puzzle of the Pedigree Pet & the Policeman Welsh Fargo’s ON THE EDGE project turns to high comedy with its next production

This is a tale of Holmes and Watson. That is the celebrated contemporary consulting detective Shirley Holmes and her flatmate Joan Watson. The Perplexing Puzzle of the Pedigree Pet & the Policeman is a comedy of dark deeds, dead dogs and drugginess - a highly entertaining mix of spoof, social unrest, stoned silliness and satirical sensationalism. And deliberate overacting. Be prepared to laugh.

The Pedigree Pet etc, etc, was initially staged at the first London International Festival of Theatre in 1981 (which makes this On The Edge presentation a 30th anniversary; quite literally a pearl of modern theatre). This is a rare opportunity to see a play that has never been produced in Wales before.

Writer/director Terry Victor has seasoned comedy chops - His laughs echo from TV’s Multi-Coloured Swap Shop via his outrageous Visionary Victor on Radio Wales to more than 40 interactive Murder On The Menu mysteries on screen, on-air, on stage, on boat and on the Orient Express. Pedigree Pet was his first whodunit.

The cast will include: Mrs Liz Gardiner Miss Rebecca Knowles– Miss Rhian Cheyne

Miss Natalie Paisey and Mr Aled Herbert, a mix of newcomers and regular On The Edgers
