‘ BE MY BABY’ NOMINATED FOR TOP AWARD !

An Aberystwyth based theatre company’s 2011 Edinburgh Fringe production has already been nominated for a top award !
‘Be My Baby’ by Amanda Whittington and produced by Louche Theatre, has been nominated for the Holden Street Theatre Award, the winner of which is offered a 26 date tour of Australia.
Louche Theatre’s Artistic Director, Harry Durnall said “ We are of course thrilled to have been nominated. Holden Street are one of the largest theatre groups in Australia. Before offering you a nomination they look at your recent work via reviews, marketing, publicity photos, etc. They select the companies they offer nomination to, based on artistic merit, production values, their venues compatibility and what they feel would appeal to their audiences”
A panel of international producers and theatre practitioners make up the judges.
‘Be My Baby’ will be presented at Greenside Theatre, Royal Terrace, Edinburgh between August 15th and 20th.
Local audiences will have one more chance to see it, when a Fringe Preview performance is presented at The Morlan Centre, Queens Road, Aberystwyth on Thursday 4th August at 7,30 pm. Tickets can be reserved by calling the Louche Theatre Box Office on 01970 612617 or pay on the door. All tickets cost just £6.00.
