National Youth Dance Wales is working with Youth Dance England, Southbank Centre, DU: Dance in Northern Ireland, and YDance (Scottish Youth Dance) to create U.Dance 2012, a major Youth Dance Festival running from 13 – 16 July 2012 at Southbank Centre in LondonNational Youth Dance Wales is proposing U.Dance Wales – two, regional Dance Platforms in Wales, from which up to two groups may be invited to participate in and perform at U.Dance 2012 at London’s Southbank Centre in July 2012. Invited groups will spend three days in London participating in dance workshops, performing on stage at Southbank Centre and meeting hundreds of other young dancers (more) Provisional dates for the U.Dance Wales platforms are 14 February 2012 (South Wales) and 31 March 2012 (North Wales) • Groups with dancers between 11 – 21 years (and young disabled dancers up to the age of 24 years) can apply to perform at a U.Dance Wales platform • Groups can perform in any dance style Interested?
