Workshop: Tracy Harris Ucheldre Centre, Holyhead

Tracy is one of Wales’ most exciting young playwrights. Her play ‘past away’ is touring nationally in Sgript Cymru’s production in the autumn. Here she offers a workshop working from visual stimuli, using photos and pictures as inspiration she draws out a world of character, situation and story. Participants are welcome to bring along their own images that excite them as having dramatic potential. English

Ucheldre Centre, Holyhead

David Eldridge from the Royal Court Theatre leads a workshop aimed at younger writers. The Royal Court Young Writers’ Festival aims to encourage first-time playwrights up to the age of twenty-five. Sgript Cymru are working in partnership with the Royal Court to encourage work from Wales. This workshop aims to inspire whether you are working on a play already or whether you have never thought about it before. English

Sgript Cymru workshops work-in-progress. A director and actors work on scripts created as part of the Theatr Gwynedd residency. Sgript Cymru has been working with local writers over 13 weeks, many writing for the stage for the first time. Be first to see some of the work created. Welsh
