New theatre production engages all the senses!

New theatre production engages all the senses!

The senior members of Gwent Young People’s Theatre (GYPT) are presenting a contemporary play called Sense, at The Melville Theatre, Abergavenny on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th December at 7:30pm. The play, by German writer Anja Hilling, is about teenagers, love and the need to make radical choices.

Sense is a poetic journey into touching, inhaling, tasting, hearing, seeing and experiencing life to the extreme! While each story links to the next part, all five ‘senses’ are also small plays in their own right.

Tickets for Sense are £6/£4 concessions and available from the Borough Theatre, box office tel: 01873 850 805. Tickets can also be purchased on the night at the Melville Theatre, Pen-y-Pound, Abergavenny, NP7 5UD. The play is suitable for adults and children 15 years +.

Gwent Young People’s Theatre provides opportunities for young people to participate in a range of theatre activities under the direction of professional actors. GYPT operates an 'open door' policy in the belief that all young people should have the opportunity to participate.
