Summer Repertory Season at Swansea Grand Theatre, Tuesday 24th to Saturday 18th August 7.30pm The hugely popular Summer Repertory Season, now in its 16th year, serves up its usual fantastic farces, enthralling thrillers and cracking comedies, with an all-star-cast.



The season kicks off with a dead funny comedy, The Cemetery Club, which runs from Tuesday 24th July until Saturday 28th July and stars Shirley Anne Field, Anne Charleston and Anita Harris.



Dead Ringer, a witty political thriller, is from Tuesday 31st July until Saturday 4th August. It stars Chris Ellison, best known for his portrayal of D.I. Frank Burnside, whom he played for several years in The Bill, Tony Adams, who became a household name as Adam Chance in Crossroads and Keith Drinkel, who was Bob, Liz Macdonald's dodgy boyfriend in Coronation Street and Swansea favourite, David Callister is back.



You're Only Young Twice, from Tuesday 7th to Saturday 11th August, is a hilarious and touching play that proves you're as young as you feel and after a particularly heavy stag night and several major indiscretions, the main character, Brooksie, suddenly starts feeling his age. With Melvyn Hayes, Katy Manning, who played the role of Josephine Grant in Dr Who with the unforgettable Jon Pertwee and Michelle Morris, best known to television audiences as Jess Howarth in The Knock.



Comedy abounds in The Final Test, from Tuesday 14th to Saturday 18th August. Peter's wife announces that she has sold the house and she's moving to Bexhill-on-Sea with her lover. When the new owners move in they discover they have an elderly cricket-loving squatter living in the garden...Starring Colin Baker, the sixth incarnation of the universally loved Doctor in Doctor Who, Peter Amory, is best known for his role as the infamous businessman Chris Tate in Emmerdale and Karen Ford, who played Miss Booth, the art teacher in Grange Hill.



The psychological thriller, Misery, closes the Repertory season, and is from Tuesday 21st to Saturday 25th August and stars Rebecca Wheatley, best known as Amy Howard, the receptionist in BBC's popular drama Casualty and Philip Bulcock from the Jersey Boys.
