Lil'tim, Dance Captain at the Olympic Opening Ceremony and Britain’s Got Talent 2012 semi-finalist joins the artistic team at Clwyd Theatr Cymru Summer Youth Theatre.
Clwyd Theatr Cymru Theatre for Young People will be holding a Summer Youth Theatre Course, 5 In 5 Summer Challenge, for 50 young people aged 11–18. The course starts on the 30th July and will culminate with the young people performing on the streets of Mold on the 4th August.
Tim Baker, Associate Director at Clwyd Theatr Cymru, heads a team of professional artists for this year’s Youth Theatre Course. Tim said:
“We want to create a truly invigorating artistic experience for and with the young participants that will stay with them and bear fruit long after the 5 in 5 Challenge ends.”
As well as award-winning director Tim Baker, other artists include Lil’tim (Britain’s Got Talent 2012 semi-finalist with Karizma Krew and Dance Captain at the Olympic Opening Ceremony); and African drummer Kevin Paton.
In just five days the 50 young participants will be inspired to devise and create an outdoor celebratory production to be performed in the centre of Mold between 1.00 – 4.00pm on the 4th August.
