THE LATEST COMEDY FROM THE TEAM BEHIND BRED IN HEAVEN goes to Aberystwyth Arts Centre Friday 28 September 2012.
Set to be one of the major Welsh productions of 2012, Frapetsus Productions will be touring the hilarious production of “Whose Coat is that Jacket?” throughout Wales.
Packed with humour, and occasional moments of darker drama, it’s the story of a rugby mad family from Trimsaran and the inability of the English daughter-in-law to relate to the clan’s claustrophobic passion for the game. Not to mention the way Welsh sons are umbilically connected to their Mams – particularly when it comes to free laundry services.
The play provokes thought as tradition, taboo, expectations, relationships, family, identity, compromise, language are all thrown into the melting pot linking past and present with the unpredictable future of this
‘stable’ household.
Directed by Maxine Evans and written by Jack Llewellyn the writer of highly acclaimed 2011 comedy “Bred in
Heaven”.
Expect nothing less than a night of hilarity, some heart rendering moments and the sharpest of one-liners.
