Sherman Cymru rolls out Welsh language workshops for little ones |
Sherman Cymru in Cardiff will be extending its Sherman Sherbets weekly drama workshop for children to include dedicated Welsh language sessions. Sherman Cymru has been running its successful Sherman Sherbets drama workshop for more than 7 years in the capital and this Autumn term, will be launching a Welsh language drama workshop. The drama workshops are aimed at children aged 4-9 years of age and is an opportunity for young people to express themselves creatively and boost their confidence in a safe space. They’ll also of course have lots of fun and make tons of new friends. Sherman Sherbets are held every Saturday morning from Saturday 29 September for 10 weeks. Leon who has been attending Sherman Sherbets since for a few years says: “Sherbets is Fun! We play lots of games like ones where you have to make frozen shapes or shout out silly words and we make up stories.” The Welsh language Sherman Sherbets will be an additional workshop which will meet for the first time at Sherman Cymru, Senghennydd Road, Cardiff from 11.30am – 1pm, on Saturday 29 September for 10 weeks. Fees each term are £60 and £30 concessions.
