Welsh playwright's work on stage in America

Mark Jenkins' stageplay 'Rosebud;The Lives of Orson Welles' opens in Seattle, Washington State, for a two week pre-Christmas run ahead of a planned tour taking in San Francisco and Los Angeles in the new year.
It stars Erik Miles van Beuzekam and is directed by Pattie van Beuzekam of The Paradise Theatre Company. This is its second USA tour since winning the Best of Edinburgh award and its first outing on the West coast of America since its last tour to New York and Toronto.
Quite by chance, the tour opens just as the feauture film version of Jenkins' 'Playing Burton' is due to be launched in multi-screenings on Sky Arts TV early in new year. It stars Welsh actor Josh Richards
in a towering performance as Richard Burton and is directed and co-produced by Wyndham Price of Cardiff-based Spinning Head Films."
