Learn the art of Burlesque from the best

On Saturday 26 January there will be a Burlesque Class at the New Theatre, Cardiff, run by international Burlesque showgirl, Miss Tempest Rose. Suitable for beginners or anyone who has tried Burlesque before, this will be a fun 90 minutes to learn this exotic art form from an expert. Miss Tempest Rose will be in Cardiff starring in the House of Burlesque’s extravaganza Shipwrecked on Friday 25 & Saturday 26 January.

A great idea for an alternative and fun Christmas gift, the class costs £10 (for people who have bought a ticket to see Shipwrecked) or £15 for everyone else. Participants should wear something that they feel comfortable in, and can wear a Burlesque costume if they wish - but it is not required. High heels are recommended and there will be no nudity.

A fun and erotic cabaret and burlesque show from the creators of the critically acclaimed, award winning ‘Circus Burlesque’, Shipwrecked has taken the West End by storm. Starring alongside Miss Tempest Rose are her special guests, plucked from the crème de la crème of the burlesque, cabaret and circus worlds.

Burlesque Showgirl Tempest Rose is one of the most exciting and multi-skilled artists in the world, specialising in entertaining, theatrical style Burlesque which harks back to the golden age of stars like Gypsy Rose Lee and Mae West. An international, award winning performer with a string of prestigious credits to her name, Tempest Rose also possesses a stunning, critically acclaimed singing voice. Other credits include three West End runs; several television appearances and regular work at the UK’s most prestigious cabaret and theatre venues. Miss Tempest Rose is a firm believer in burlesque’s ability to inspire, up lift, entertain and dazzle audiences worldwide and she has been making a jaw-dropping career out of doing just that.

The Burlesque Class is on Saturday 26 Jan at 3pm at the New Theatre, Cardiff. Tickets for the Burlesque Class are sold in person or on the phone only, they are not available online and there is a maximum of 35 places. For further details or to book tickets call the Box Office on (029) 2087 8889.
