A Networking Day for Arts Professionals Who Work with Young People |
An opportunity to explore the potential for a Youth Arts Network that connects youth arts providers and practitioners across Wales. When: Saturday 15 June 2013 (10am – 4pm) Where: Theatr Felinfach Clwyd Theatr Cymru, Mold The Drama Centre, Llandrindod Wells The events will run simultaneously, with opportunities for presentations and plenary to be delivered and shared remotely (via Skype or video-link). Cost: *FREE* Lunch will be provided The day will comprise: (i) practical, skill-sharing activities led by fellow-practitioners; (ii) presentation of areas for debate*; (iii)opportunities for discussion and new ideas; (iv) plenary and ‘next steps’. *Areas for debate include: · a Pan-Wales Youth Arts Network – rationale, for whom, how · skill-sharing and support-structures for practitioners · involving the voices and ideas of young people to inform and extend the Network Interested? Please register your intention to attend by emailing nyaw@nyaw.co.uk with Youth Arts Network in the subject-line, indicating (i) which venue you will be attending, (ii) a contact telephone number, and (iii) if you would be willing to lead a skill-sharing session. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come/first-served basis.
