Family friendly theatre at Chepstow Castle
|
One of this country's biggest and most varied festivals of open-air theatre starts on the evening of Saturday 15 June with a production for audiences of all ages of "Babe the Sheep Pig" by Illyria. Adapted from the book by Dick King Smith this family friendly production tells the story of a pig who thinks he's a sheepdog!
Although primarily a children's story Illyria's creative staging, highly inventive, complex and convincing props are multi-layered humour will delight adults as well. The theatre company's productions in previous years of "James and the Giant Peach" and "The Twits" were universally acclaimed.
