Pembrokeshire Drama Summer Scheme

Hot on the heels of last year's drama summer scheme, which culminated in the critically acclaimed 'Terra Incognita' at Carew Castle (based on Shakespeare's "The Tempest", Andy Greenhouse proudly presents the Pembrokeshire Drama Summer Scheme for 2003.

This is an unique opportunity for young people in Pembrokeshire to come together for a three week intensive drama course. Run by professional theatre practitioners it will culminate in three evening performances during the first week of September at the Torch Theatre.

This year's production will be a piece devised by the group over the three week period. For performers the course will include sessions on voice, movement and improvisation. Technical students will work with the Torch Technical team and be introduced to all aspects of technical theatre including lighting, sound, stage management, set construction and costume: they will be in total control of the final show under the supervision of staff.

Sessions will take place from 10.00am - 6.00pm (weekdays) - including Monday 25 August.
There will be a course fee of £50.
Workshops and rehearsals will take place in the Milford Haven area.
Auditions will take place on Sat 5 and Sun 6 April.

Application forms and further details are available from Andy Greenhouse at the Torch Theatre. Tel: 01646 694192.

The Pembrokeshire Summer Drama Scheme is grateful for the support of the Arts Council of Wales and Pembrokeshire County Council.
