ELAN Wales host an international theatre conference at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama exploring creative partnerships: March 28 - 29

Theatre practitioners and producers from India, the USA, Italy and Wales will be meeting at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama on
March 28 & 29 to discuss new approaches to international exchange.

The two-day conference will feature debates, video presentations and an Open Forum Discussion dedicated to the theme “Ways of Seeing: Creativity Exchange Training” on Saturday, March 29 (2.30pm - 4.30pm).

The springboard for the conference is ELAN Wales’s award-winning wwWoyzeck season, which saw the realisation of fouR interrelated
performance training and research projects in the USA, Wales, India and Italy throughout 2002 led by Firenza Guidi.

Amongst the participants are John Green (Butler University, Indiana),up-and-coming Italian journalist Jacopo Cecconi, Vikram Iyengar, co ordinator of India City Limits Project with ELAN Wales, and Pauline Crossley, Expressive Arts Director for National Youth Theatre Wales.

The conference has been organised by Firenza Guidi, artistic director of ELAN Wales, in association with the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Firenza has just finished taking part on Peter Greenaway’s Tulse Luper Suitcase Project
