Valley Arts Marketing (VAM) and Marketing the Arts in Swansea and Carmarthen (MASC) are joining forces to look at the need to provide arts professionals, semi-professionals and arts organisations of all sizes with combined networking and training opportunities across South Wales and West Wales. Work already undertaken has identified an absence of arts based networks within the region along with a demand for greater opportunities for networking. If successful in gaining funding, the two organisations envisage offering Networking and Support opportunities in response to the differing needs of arts practitioners and small arts organisations as well as larger venues and Arts businesses. Both organisations would welcome the views of practitioners and organisations in their areas to ensure that their application for funding reflects the needs of those individuals and organisations.
