This week, the highly regarded West Glamorgan Youth Theatre Co. will give performances of 2 pieces in South Wales. Equus, by Peter Shaffer will be performed at the Taliesin Arts Centre in Swansea on July 18th and 19th at 7.30pm. Shaffer's emotionally-charged piece features a cast of young people between the ages of 16 and 21, and studies the story and psychology of a teenage boy convicted of blinding horses. The company will also give two performances of a musical revue piece devised by the company and looking at the history of the 20th century musical.
