Diversions Dance Autumn Tour announced

Diversions, The Dance Company of Wales, embarks on a busy Autumn 2003 national tour this month. The Company then tours Wales, England and Scotland. For a full list of tour dates, visit

'TOUGH LOVE' dives headlong into a turbulent world of love, passion, joy and pain. Inspired by the bluesy music of sixties icon Janis Joplin, Roy Campbell-Moore's twentieth production explores the complex relationship between love and hate.
'Hot, violent and colourful, the dancers brought out the power and humour of strong emotions.' The Western Mail

'MONOLITH' is a funny and visually delightful portrayal of urban living and communication between the sexes which captures the buzz on the streets and behind closed doors. Toni Mira translates relationships between strangers, lovers, gossiping workers and people in their cars into inventive fluid movement.
'..stunning theatrical creation.' El Pais, Madrid

Now in it's twentieth year, Cardiff based Diversions has achieved international recognition through it's extensive touring programme both in Britain and overseas. The Company is known for presenting work by international choreographers and its international collaborative projects.

There are many exciting developments planned over the next year, including a tour to Cuba and the Company's move into the Wales Millennium Centre in 2004.
