Summer Improvisation Course

This 5 day course will focus on improvisation and contact Improvisation, through the medium of dance, designed to enhance a healthy relationship between body and mind. The course will be lead by Kirstie Simson who is an internationally renowned virtuoso dancer.
The weeks events take place in Cwm Cych from the late afternoon of the 07 to the morning of the 12 of September 2003. Accommodation is available, and the prices of the workshop and accommodation is as follows:
Waged Part-waged unwaged
Workshop & accommodation: £195 £170 £145
Workshop only: £140 £115 £90
When booking a place a deposit of £50 is required which can be sent to the address shown.
Accommodation is available at Clynfyw Countryside Centre in self catering cottages.
During the weeks activities, the emphasis will be placed on the activity of locating, listening and allowing dance to be expressed through the body, combined with the learning of simple technical and sensory expanding skills. There will also be a chance to explore the picturesque local surroundings
The course will allow those interested in dance and expanding their technique to meet new people as well as develop their own skills and abilities.
