Pentreffest is an innovative organisation that aims to encourage the development of traditional social dance events as a means of increasing the presence and sense of community. This year Pentreffest will be hosting a festival of Traditional European Social Dance and Music in Pembroke and will include a weekend of music, song and dance from Wales, Cornwall, Brittany, France, Ireland and England. The events start at 5pm on the 5th of September and conclude on the 7th September 2003 The focus of the weekends events will be on the Saturday evening with music and dance workshops and a selection of musicians and dances. This will continue on the Sunday with workshops and a daytime dance. All ages are welcome to participate, people under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
