Women’s Arts Association - Permanent Waves     

Women’s Arts Association Permanent Waves are hosting a series of workshops throughout running from September until December 2003. The courses are listed below:

Image Preparation: 1st and 2nd October: The course teaches how to use technology to organise images with a variety of software to enhance the quality of images.

Design for Print 8th and 9th October: Using the industry standard QuarkXpress software to learn how to produce documents. There is an opportunity to undertake the course on the 15th and 16th of October where the emphasis will be on printing for commercial or home use.

Image Manipulation 22nd and 23rd October: Learn how to work with digital images using industry standard software Photoshop. This course is suitable for beginners or as a refresher course.

Christmas Card Production 5th and 6th November: Making Christmas cards using photos.

Design for Print 12th and 13th November: Learn how to produce documents for printing and commercial use using QuarkXpress. There is another course on the 19th and 20th of November.

Some knowledge of using a mouse is necessary.
