Randerson backs radical change for ACW
|
Welsh culture minister Jenny Randerson has insisted that she will push for "radical and far-reaching change" within the Arts Council of Wales, including the transfer for policy to the National Assembly.
Speaking on the eve of the publication of a long-awaited report into the principality's arts sector, the newly-appointed minister told The Stage that she was committed to implementing its recommendations as soon as possible.
..Randerson promised that the review would be taken "very seriously" and would be seen as a "foundation for the future", adding: "I am ready for radical change. There is no alternative. It is a very comprehensive and exciting report".
"We have had major problems with ACW and there are recommendations within the post-16 report as to how we structure the quango."
