Performance and Taster Workshops

Graeae the UK's leading company of disabled theatre professionals are running a series of 2 day theatre workshops for disabled adults.
The workshops take place at London Metropolitan University, 166 - 220 Holloway Road, London. The workshops take place on the following dates:
17th and 18th January 2004 - Exploring Text, with Philip Osment and Claire Hodgson.
21st and 22nd February 2004 - Physical Theatre: Dance and Movement, with CandoCo Dance Company.
17th and 18th April 2004 - Devising for Performance with Jenny Sealey and Mitch Mitchelson.
The costs of attending the workshops are as follows:
One workshop £25 (waged) /£15 (unwaged) or all four workshops at £80 (waged) /£50 (unwaged). The workshops are accredited through the London Open College Network.
Following the taster workshops, Graeae will be running a further initiative entitled the Missing Piece from September 2004 until May 2005. This initiative will involve a free performing arts accredited training scheme designed exclusively for adults with physical and sensory impairments. Following the training scheme, 6 individuals will be offered a professional contract to tour a follow up theatre production to venues across London. The course will be 3 days per week during term time, and all sessions will take place at London Metropolitan University, North London.
