Theatr Mwldan Phase 1 opening

THE first phase of a £6.9m development project into Theatr Mwldan and the town of Cardigan has been completed.
The doors of a new auditorium, which houses a new bar, box office and tourist information centre, will open tomorrow.
Dilwyn Davies, director of the theatre said, "I'm exceptionally pleased with the whole look and feel of the new foyer space and auditorium.
"A lot of work has gone into decisions on colours and material from myself and staff members and I think it looks great."
The impressive contemporary space of the foyerin Mwldan 2 gleams whiteand blocks of colour of olive green, hot fiery orange and cooling purple are interspersed.
Competing with any metropolitan theatre, the new modern Theatr Mwldan brings some fresh air into Cardigan.
