The Welsh Centre for International Affairs is hosting a meeting entitled 'Artists as Ambassadors for Wales: The role of the cultural sector in the development of the international profile of Wales' on 26 February 2004. Christine Kinsey, an international artist and author who was Co-founder and Artistic Director of Chapter Arts Centre, co-founder of Artists and Designers in Wales Association and artistic advisor to Cardiff City Council, will be speaking at the meeting. She will pose the questions and offer possible strategies to utilise the experience, knowledge and expertise of artists from all disciplines in establishing the perception of Wales within an international context. The presentation will be followed by questions and discussion. The meeting will take place at 7.30pm at the Temple of Peace, Cathays Park, Cardiff. The entry fee is £5 (£3) to cover wine and buffet.
