ELAN Wales off to work in Cuba

Firenza Guidi and her international group of collaborators are off to Cuba for a new adventure, the third of this intense season.

On the Caribbean isle the Italian-Welsh director and her company Elan will set up and present El Catalogo, a performance montage inspired by Josè Saramago’s novel All the Names.

The show completes a programme fully dedicated to a trilogy of the Portuguese Nobel prize. Immortal, the circus-theatre show inspired by The Cave, started his United Kingdom’s tour last May, near Cardiff, in Pontypridd.

Bianco, freely inspired by Blindness, was presented in july in Fucecchio, near Florence. The success has been constant and many enthusiastic reviews of  Immortal were published in this site as well.

Now Cuba. El Catalogo will be presented Wednesday October the 13th in Cumanayagua, Thursday the 14th in Cienfuegos and Saturday the 16th in La Habana.
