Committee overturn decision to cut funding to Theatr Powys and Powys Dance
Theatr Powys and Powys Dance are very pleased to announce that the Policy and Scrutiny Committee of CFLL met this afternoon (Fri 22nd) and have decided to overturn the decision to cut all funding to the two companies. The original recommendation to cease funding the companies created quite a furor in these here parts. Local, Powys wide, Wales wide and international statements of support have clearly hit the mark.
Many thanks to everyone for all their support – it has been much appreciated.
