A series of summer workshops specially designed to provide a practical insight into the role of the actor and taking a character from page to stage. The process will take you from the initial audition stages – how to get the best from an audition, through to the casting process, learning lines, textual analysis, creating and building a sustained character, incorporating voice and physicality, fine tuning and will finish with a show-back which will be video recorded (copies may be obtained for you to keep after the event) A newly written short piece of theatre will be commissioned to suit the needs and requirements of the group who take part. We are looking for people with a playing of 24 - 34, so if you think you fit the bill, why not take part?
