Y DRIOLEG - YN DECHRAU AR Y 30.8.04 - YN GORFFEN AR Y 2.10.04

Yn ystod Mis Medi mae perfformwyr lleol, o bob oedran a chefndir, yn dod ynghyd yn Theatr Felinfach i weithio tuag at antur fawr. Y her yw ail greu tair sioe a berfformiwyd dros y tiar blynedd diwethaf. Roedd y perfformiadau yn llwyddiannus iawn ac wedi achosi cryn dipyn o drafod, ond mi oedd seibiant o flwyddyn yr un rhyngddynt. Ar ol proses o gofio ac ail ymarfer bydd y tair yn cael eu dangos dros drydiau - un ar ol y llall. Beth fydd y trafod ar ol eu gweld fel trioleg? Ydy hi?n bosibl i ddenu pobl at y theatr i weld gwaith anturus gwahanol gan y gymuned? Sut fydd y cyfryngau yn ymateb i?r syniadau? Ydy theatr newydd yn bwysig o hyd neu ydy?r teledu wedi cymryd drosodd? Beth fydd y sgyrsio?

Bydd Pererin, Gwel a Chof a Chalon - prosiectau ar y cyd rhwng Dawns Dyfed a Theatr Felinfach yn farathon i?r perfformwyr ond y gobaith yw bydd hi?n brofiad egniol a chyffrous i?r cynulleidfaoedd - rhywbeth gwahanol iawn i ddechrau?r tymor newydd.

Mae?r sioeau yn plethu symud, testun, ffilm a sain i greu dewleddau hardd, ac i gyflyri?r dychymyg, tra?n edrcyh o safbwynt newydd ar ein hardal a?n diwylliant.

Mae?r sesiynau ymarfer yn agored ac mae croeso i unrhwyun i ymweld a ni yn ystod mis Medi. Dewch i weld, dewch i drafod. Am ragor o wybodaeth ffoniwch Mags 01570 471049.

Y Drioleg - BEGINNING ON  30.8.04 - ENDING ON 2.10.04

During September local performers from Ceredigion of all ages and backgrounds are coming together in Theatr Felinfach to work towards a big challenge. The task is to re-create three shows that were originally performed over the last three years. Those performances were very succesful and sparked a good deal of debate, but there was a gap of a year between each one. After the process of remembering and re-rehearsing the three pieces will be shown over three days - one after the other - what will the debate be after seeing them as a trilogy? Is it possible to attract people to the theatre to see adventurous unconventional work by the community? How will the media react to the ideas? Is new theatre work still important or has the TV taken over? What will the discussion be?

Pererin Gwel and Cof a Chalon - all joint projects between Dawns Dyfed and Theatr Felinfach - will be a marathon for the performers but the hope is that it will also be energising and exciting for the audiences - something very different to begin the new term.

The shows weave movement, text, film and sound to create images of beauty and to catch the imagination whilst at the same time looking at our area and culture from a new perspective.

The rehearsals are open and everyone is welcome to visit us during September. Come and see, come and discuss.
